Set in the remote and breathtaking Bay of Many Coves, Furneaux Lodge is a historic destination nestled deep in the Marlborough Sounds. This renovation project was all about enhancing guest comfort while preserving the lodge’s rustic charm and connection to its surroundings. We were heavily involved in the project management from start to finish, coordinating logistics and design execution in a remote location. A full-time team member from Cinnamon House Design was based on-site for several weeks during the renovation to ensure everything ran smoothly and to the highest standard. We supplied all furnishings, including custom-made headboards and sofas, handmade locally in Blenheim. Each piece was selected for comfort, durability, and aesthetic harmony with the lodge’s coastal environment. This project is a testament to our hands-on approach, attention to detail, and ability to deliver exceptional results — even in the most remote and logistically complex locations.
